If you see me post, I'm awake. If you don't see me post, then I'm probably still awake. If I say "I'm going to go to sleep" I'm lying. I'm Hannibal Lecter (But not really), 18, England. I post stuff. I think I'm far enough into my blog for you to be able to look around and see if you like, or dislike, the things I post. Feel free to follow me, but it's okay if you don't, I'd rather my follower count to be lower. Followers are too mainstream for me ;) Also, be sure to check out my art work before you leave (The link should be down there somewhere)!
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I was supposed to write this yesterday, or rather, I wanted to, but I didn’t so I’ll just say it now.
It really annoys me when families aren’t supportive when other members of their family are doing their best to progress in whatever they want to progress in.
I mean, you get people that have these dreams of ‘well-respected’ and high paying careers and they go for them and that’s great, and you get people that have no dreams and do nothing their entire life and that’s not so great - But then you’ve got people with dreams of careers that might not be as respected or might not pay as much, but they’re still doing all they can and they’re going for them suddenly you have some people on the fence about it.
It annoys me so much because, first of all, a dream’s a dream, a lot of people won’t understand that because it’s a personal thing - Your dream and their dream won’t be the same and you shouldn’t expect it to be and second because, y’know, families should be doing what they can to keep each other happy - Or at least, not to bring each other down. The rest of the world is doing enough of that without it happening within your own home.
